Started his career as an Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) for North West Provincial Health Department, where he was subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager for Bojanala Platinum District Municipal Health Services. He is currently appointed as the Manager for Waste and Biodiversity Services, representing the North West Province on the National Executive Committee for South African Institute of Environmental Health (“SAIEH”).
He is a successful Environmental Health Practitioner with more than ten years’ experience in Environmental and Municipal health within the public sector. Mr. Masebe was appointed by Tshwane University of Technology’s (“TUT”) Environmental Health Department as part-time lecturer for Environmental Management Studies. He successfully coordinated Environmental Health activities for Rustenburg Local Municipality as a host city for the FIFA World Cup Soccer tournament in 2010. He received the Alfred Nzo Environmental
Health Achievement Award for outstanding performance in the North-West Province and also represented the Bojanala Platinum District Municipality during a working visit to LAHTI City in Finland for knowledge sharing on Environmental Management Systems new developments. He holds a National Diploma and BTech Degree in Environmental Health from the University of Johannesburg, and a B-Tech Degree in Project Management from Tshwane University of Technology. He is a designated Environmental Management Inspector for North West Department for Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development. He understands the UFO value-chain and has extensive networks that will enable Bronberrik to source this key feedstock.

Dr. Daphney Phophi Ramaphosa is a Corporate Sustainability Specialist with expertise in Natural, Social and Relational Capital Sustainability; and Sustainability Risk. She holds a Doctor of Business Leadership Degree from the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership, a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from the University of Johannesburg and a Management Advancement Programme (MAP) Certificate from the University of Witwatersrand (WITS Business School) among other qualifications. Her experience spans corporate, public and private entities providing Environmental Advisory, Social and Relational Capital Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Sustainability and Integrated Reporting services across the logistics, engineering, municipal as well as energy systems across Southern Africa.

She serves on the University of Johannesburg’s Process Engineering and Environmental Technology Station Advisory Board as well as on the UNISA Department of Business Management Programme Advisory Committee and its External Review Team. She also serves on the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority Sustainable Development Sub-Committee. She is a philanthropist at heart and provides mentoring and coaching to university undergraduates.
